I never thought I’d see the day that I would truly know love. With the click on my keyboard, pulled into a personal chat. Questions asked, questions answered. Laughs, giggles, smiles. More in common than there are differences. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. But what I’ve gained is a knot in my stomach that just won’t quit. There because I feel excited about each pending word that might slip from his lips. The idea of hearing his voice when next he calls sends my heart racing. Its never beat so hard, jumped so high, just at the idea of his name. Telling me once, telling me twice just how much he loves me, just as if at first sight. What shall I do, what can I say that hasn’t already been said? Do I trust that a click on a keyboard knows what’s better for me than I myself? Dare I hope that tomorrow brings more happiness than today or yesterday?

A dream is but a dream until it takes on a life of it’s own and you find yourself on the other side of it. Living it, breathing it, not willing to let it go.

I never truly thought that forever was a thing. Never wanted it so bad, never really needed anyone, like I need him. My world changes colors, no longer dark and dreary. When rain falls, I still feel sunshine on my back. How can this be? It’s the love that overwhelms me. It’s taken on a life of its own. He’s my everything. Can’t imagine another day without him, nor do I think my heart could take it. I sure hope he doesn’t intend to brake it.

My everything, just over six feet tall, half Italian with beautiful eyes, gentle hands and a heart of gold. More handsome than I ever imagined, as dedicated to me as I am to him. Two peas in a pod, we’re as happy as can be. Melting hearts lost in one another, sharing pathways, goals, hopes and dreams.
