The Quiet Work of Leadership©️ 👩🏻‍💼by Felina Silver (Copyright 2026)

What makes a good leader?

A leader is best when people barely know they exist… when their work is done, and their aim fulfilled, they will say: we did it ourselves

A good leader
does not thunder at the front of the room.
They lean in.
They listen.

They leave space at the table
for other voices to arrive,
knowing that wisdom grows
when shared hands shape the work.

They stand in the middle of the moment,
eyes open to every side,
measuring truth without favor,
choosing diplomacy over pride.

Their temper is steady,
a quiet river, not a storm🏞️ ⋆.ೃ࿔⛈ ݁ ˖*༄
cool enough to think clearly,
strong enough to carry others forward.

Leadership, then,
is not being the loudest voice,
but being the calm that allows
every voice to be heard.
